Message from Dean
Welcome
to School of Education !
It is my great pleasure to welcome you in Kathmandu University School
of Education (KUSOED). Since its establishment, KUSOED has been
providing quality education through its Post Graduate Diploma (PGDE),
Masters in Education (M.Ed.), M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs. We have
been focusing in producing capable human capital in the areas of
Educational Leadership, Development Studies, Research, Teacher Education
and Training.
We are very careful in providing quality access as opportunities
to all. The tasks before us are large, but they must be faced, and
we are best off facing them together. Working together, we can ensure
that the challenges of quality education can be met. School of Education
is one the KU's leading educational institutions which has the capacity
to build confidence in tomorrow's human resources, the students
admitted in this school, to lead the country towards desired direction.
We are aware that in the 21st century, citizens and employees need
to be broadly trained and flexible. Labor market conditions change,
fostered by technology, global and demographic trends and public
policies. Our job titles, our employers and even our specializations
change and evolve over the course of our careers. So we are trying
our best to cope with such changes and instill the knowledge and
skill to our graduates as per the local and global needs. We accord
developing skills, attitudes and knowledge relevant to the world
of work as high priority.
School of Education continues to attract and retain outstanding
faculty who are well respected in their fields. We offer a challenging
intellectual environment for our undergraduate and graduate degree
programs in different field of study.
I invite you to explore School of Education's programs whether you
are a prospective student, community partner or one of our alumni.
This can be your resource for a lifetime.
I would like to thank you for your continued interest to KUSOED
and its programs.
