The department is trying to promote research activities on its own and by collaborating with domestic/international agencies and organizations. Starting of the MS by research program, starting of the NORAD Fellowship Program of ME in Electrical Power Engineering, Asia-Link Project ENLIGHTEN and the collaboration with HHF (Happy House Foundation) are some significant steps in promoting applied research in the department.
