Admission to all programs offered by the department is governed by KU- School of Engineering (SOE).

Undergraduate ( BE in Mechanical Engineering)

Admissions to BE is highly competitive. Requirements for the Programs are same as that for any other engineering program. Students are required to have completed 12 years of schooling and to have studied high school level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Graduate ( ME in Mechanical Engineering )

The department seeks applications from highly competitive students with a four years under graduate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automobile engineering for admission to its terminal masters degree program. The selection of the applicants is based on experience, academic records, entrance test and interview.
