RDC - Use of 'Purchase Request Form

All Research Project Staff are hereby informed, with reference to the circulation received from Procurement Section on dated the 10 Nov 2016 to this office, to refer page no. 103 of the Accounting Manual Form 7-3 as a Requisition for the purchase of any items. Previously practiced Purchase Requisition Form (माग फारम) is no more in use. Link is provided as follows;

Project Staff may also visit the RDC webpage (TEMPLATE 16)  to the link as follows for quick download of the Form 7-3.

Further to the information of all concerned that if any Project Staff are organizing seminars, conferences or workshops in hotels/resorts and estimated cost is exceeding NPR 300,000/- are required to seek three quotations in advance, submit the Price Comparison Chart (see page 115 of the Accounting Manual, Form 7-4 or TEMPLATE 17 in the RDC webpage) and get approval from the Office of the Registrar/RDC Directorate with justification on the agreed price quote.

I Background information of the workshop

Kathmandu University has been focusing conceptual projects and community development programs through inter-intra departmental projects. The projects implemented are high impact projects with various national and international stakeholders.

Currently, many projects are implemented on the basis of previous experience and inquisitiveness with less proper analytical tools for the conceptual beginning. This workshop is conducted to emphasize on the development of strategic objectives of the project. There are many tools that interlink and results in the formation of these objectives with necessary result and action areas.

Kathmandu University Business Incubation Center is keen to develop such hard and soft skills related to project implementation and inception.

II Time schedule and venue

The daily programme is arranged as follows:

  • morning: from 09.30 to 1.00 pm with one coffee/ tea break

  • afternoon: from 1.45pm to 3.30 pm with short break if required
