It is planned that after this grand event in Nepal, the ICDRET series will be continued in different countries in every two-year interval.

ICDRET'18 is aimed at providing a cutting-edged scholarly forum for researchers, engineers, industries, stakeholders and students alike to share their state-of-the-art research and development works, new ideas and breakthroughs in all areas of Renewable Energy Technologies (RETs). It will also serve as the platform for national and international public and private organization to show-case their programs for the promotion of renewable energy technologies in general society. One of the main goals of the Conference is to announce Nepali Year 2075, which starts from April 13, 2018: a Renewable Energy Year 2075.
