RenewableNepal aims to stimulate applied research at Nepalese universities and research institutions. The goal of RenewableNepal is to enable Nepal to utilize its natural resources of energy to develop a renewable energy supply for social and economic development in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Four new projects with funding from RenewableNepal start July-August 2011. This will increase the number of projects funded by RenewableNepal Programme from 7 to 11.
RenewableNepal is going to organize the first RENTECH Nepal Symposium at Kathmandu University on 22 December 2011. The purpose of this symposium is to facilitate free interchange of ideas among the participants on renewable energy technologies being/been researched, developed, or deployed in Nepal.
