Kathmandu University is honored to organize 3rd South Asian Universities Youth Festival (SAFEST 2008) at Dhulikhel, Nepal from 07-11 February 2008. This mega event has been organized in co-ordination with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

It is an event of friendship and interaction leading to long lasting partnerships and exchanges amongst the youth of the region. University youth of the region will take part in various cultural items using their traditional items as dresses, musical instruments and dances. Similarly, they will also take part in debate and discussion on the contemporary issues.

Some special lectures on South Asian perspectives will also be organized.
University youths are requested to participate in the events through their respective universities.
