INTRODUCTION

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Directorate is newly established at the Office of the Vice Chancellor to maintain overall quality of the university and enhance its academic as well as research strength. The major aim of the Division is to plan and design the M&E systems, prepare operational policies, norms, standards, formats and procedures and develop monitoring indicators and evaluation parameters of the university.

EXPECTED OUTCOME OF M&E DIVISION

  • Proper monitoring and evaluation of overall KU system

  • Assist to maintain academic and research quality 

  • Prepare operational policies and guidelines in monitoring and evaluation

  • Develop monitoring indicators and evaluation parameters

  • Monitor work progress

  • Monitor and evaluate academic activities of entire schools

  • Research projects output and its practical implementation

  • Research and development status

  • Faculty performance, problems and challenges 

  • Plan and design the monitoring and evaluation system to meet institutional goals and strategies

  • Organize and lead the M&E function as a central unit for generating, processing , documenting and dissemination of performance information for policy decisions

  • Prepare operational policies, norms,  standards and procedures 

  • Develop monitoring indicators and evaluation parameters

  • Monitor work progress against set standards and targets
